英語日記 (2019.12.12) - Tatsuo Umemiya Passed Away

Tatsuo Umemiya, a famous actor in Japan, died at the age of 81. It is reported that he had been suffering from several kinds of cancer since three years ago.

My father is 80 years old now, and he was found to have colorectal cancer and underwent surgery to remove it three years ago. Fortunately, his cancer has not come back for now. But I feel a bit uneasy about the fact that everyone has to come to terms with one's mortality.
