英語日記 (2019.12.17) - I've Got a Cold

I've had a cold since last week. My throat feels very sore, and I'm suffering from a persistent cough. I wake up many times during the night because of the urge to cough.

My symptoms got worse after the year-end party of my company on Friday. For the following two days, I didn't drink alcohol. But yesterday I drank a little, thinking a small amount of alcohol would be OK.

It was not OK at all. My sore throat became worse this morning. I deeply regretted drinking last night, and I decided I won't drink until I get over my cold.
